Time to Update the Nursery Schedule...

What a GREAT year! Your cheerful service has been a blessing! We're so thankful to see the love that has been given to our little church-goers and their families! With summer underway, we're ready to start scheduling for next year. We request that parents of nursery-age children commit to serving in a regular slot; however, it's not possible to fill the schedule using parents alone, so we value willing servants ready to love our children.

Our needs include:

• Nursery Volunteer--once-a-month commitment (supervising free-play time, offering snacks/drinks & diapering/potty)
• Nursery Greeter--every Sunday or every other Sunday comittment (handing out nametags, orienting visitors about the nursery & supervising pick-up of children to make sure they are picked up by the appropriate adult)
• Pre-School Sunday School Helper--every Sunday, every other Sunday, or quarterly commitment (no preparation required, simply assist the Sunday School teacher with snacks, crafts, book-reading, supervising free-play time & other duties as needed).

Complete the Nursery Interest Form by August 1 (one submission for each person volunteering).

Select a slot from the options available that suits your schedule.

Schedule runs from September 9, 2012, through Labor Day, 2013. Reminders will be printed on the back of the Weekly Connections and emailed to you.

If you are worried about having a commitment this far into the future due to potential conflicts, please know that there is a substitution plan in place.

All Children's Ministry Volunteers must complete an approval process.

• If you have not completed this process, you will be asked to complete some paperwork and possibly meet with a church staff person before being added to the schedule. Please contact the church office for forms or with questions. Forms are also available at the Welcome Center.
• All Youth and Junior Helpers must also complete brief approval paperwork for their role.

Orientation/Training will be offered through a combination of written guidelines to be distributed before the start of the new year and a training session to be offered the evening of Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the church. Be sure to mark this important date in your calendar now!
