VBS went well despite disasters with transportation, multiple injuries, the news that Nick would be stuck in PA with bronchitis and laryngitis, and extremely short sleep shifts. About 50 Navajo kids showed up, ages 4-16, and although many of them were at first difficult to lead, we appreciated them.
Pray for the buses and vans, which are falling apart. Pray for the drivers.
Pray for the BIC kids, who are stretched farther than anyone could have expected.
Pray for the construction crew, which has been clambering around on roofs and has already encountered one snake.
Pray for Sam and Jameson, who will be taking over lessons for the Navajo teens.
Pray for Ed, who is very worn out and is bleeding a lot.
Pray for the Navajo. Pray that they will be lifted up by this program and that the seed of the Spirit will be planted within them.

Praying for you all, for good health and protection, for encouragement and perseverance, and that you would be a blessing to the people you are serving and God's name would be glorified.
More details about multiple injuries and Ed would be nice :)

Man guys, I really miss bein there with you. I'm praying each day for the work you are doin out there. I wish more than you would believe that things had worked out and I would be joining you. I can't pretend to understand God's timing. But one thing I do understand is that God is using and equipping each one of you to be doing some incredible work now and in the future. Let me just say, thank you for all that you are doing. I can only imagine that working with kids is tough (haha) but this verse from Isaiah has seen me through many times: "Even youth grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary." So good luck with the vbs and keep posting stuff!

I pray that each leader and youth at the mission feel in their hearts and souls the value of the service that they are doing. You are all planting the seeds and watering the souls of the Navajo. And now stand back and may God make it grow. I thank each of you for perservering. Enjoy eachother and have fun.
