Why we do what we do...

"A chasm exists between the church and the academy, the world of faith and the world of thought. I believe the world needs devout, thinking followers of Jesus unafraid of difficult questions and issues, and I want EBIC to help bridge the gap. This is why we dedicate two Sundays per year to questions about culture and faith and invite outside speakers to challenge and encourage us. I hope these events and the partnership with the Emerging Scholars Network will help better equip God's people to face challenging questions as we engage Elizabethtown and the world with the love of Jesus Christ."
Steve Lane, Sr. Pastor of EBIC
