Heart of the Lamb

Heart of the Lamb on tour in the city of Philadelphia

  • Monday nights, 6-45 pm
Describing Heart of the Lamb as simply a youth choir or a youth band isn't completely accurate. Yes, we are a choir accompanied by a band and we do lead worship once a month from September through May at EBIC, and we do enjoy learning and singing a wide variety of music, from the latest Christian band release to gospel to Christian world music. However, we also do the occasional drama, dance and serve in missions together. Heart of the Lamb is an assembly of youth who enjoy collaborating together to join voices, instruments, hands and feet to serve God.
One weekend every spring the group takes a trip to a regional city to serve another church congregation in song and ministry and learn more about the diverse worship expressions in the body of Christ. Recent trips have been to Baltimore's Inner Harbor, Harrisburg (H-BIC and Paxton Ministries), and Staten Island, NYC. In 2012, we were blessed to take part in a growing church plant in inner city Philadelphia (Urban Hope ministries) and serve as worship leaders Sunday morning and as helpers in a Sunday afternoon Bible School for nearly 100 community kids. We even had time to tour the city, eat some Middle Eastern food and take part in a West African drumming and dance session.

2013 Pittsburgh Trip

What a great time we had in Pittsburgh! Check out photos from our trip here.
