Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20

EBIC has a longstanding passion for connection with the global church and global mission is committed to the mandate to share the good news of Jesus near and far. Pages to the right are dedicated to those from our congregation who are currently serving or preparing to serve.

The Global Mission Team at EBIC serves as an arm of the congregation to facilitate response to disasters, encourage short-term service and assist with the preparation, support and re-entry of persons at EBIC serving in short term capacities. The team also seeks to nurture a global mind-set within the congregation with a particular focus on the global Brethren in Christ Church.

Considering Long or Short Term Service?

Anyone in the Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ (EBIC) congregation considering long or short-term global service should first read the Principles for Service Trips.
You may then complete and submit a Proposal for Global Service form to the EBIC Global Mission Team. This provides information for the team to consider assistance, support and encouragement in fund-raising, prayer, and congregational awareness of your service. This step is required prior to conducting any fund-raising within the congregation.
