We read all types of books, fiction and non-fiction, suggested by group participants. We aim for authors who write well and help us to think about various social, cultural and spiritual issues. We do not necessarily agree with each author's perspective but seek to learn from each.

- The Hardest Thing to Do by Penelope Wilcock
- This is a continuation of The Hawk and the Dove trilogy which we read some years ago. If you want to catch up, The Hawk and the Dove is in the church library. These are stories of grace, of facing daily struggles in light of giving ourselves to God in submission and service. The setting is life in a medieval monastery. It might sound boring but is anything but.

We will pick a book for over summer reading. Earlier, someone suggested
Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand. It is a true story of WW II survival. A long book.
