Bryan & Karah

Bryan, Karah, and their children are living and serving in Halle, Germany, located two hours SW of Berlin.

The eastern part of Germany is in great need of Christian presence. Since the 1989 fall of Communism, the east remains the weaker half, characterized by social and spiritual emptiness, and racism directed toward an increasing number of immigrant and refugee minorities moving in.

After three generations of imposed atheism during Communism, 80% of the population is effectively unevangelized, and 65% is agnostic or atheist. Only 2% of the nation's youth claim to follow Jesus. See www.operationworld.org/germ

Bryan and Karah are serving as church developers, primarily in the areas of worship and children's ministries. Their church is reaching out to Halle's international community, ranging from immigrants and refugees to foreign University students.

Bryan and Karah are serving with Eastern Mennonite Missions in associate relationship with Brethren in Christ World Missions. For more information, please contact Kevin or Janelle Messick, Church Liaisons.

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. 2 Corinthians 2:14
